Arville's brother, Terry, retired this month, and we wanted to celebrate with him by posting some great pictures from his retirement party on our Blog. One of his wife's family members brought the "Dora the Explorer" pinata and the cake was decorated with Terry's dream of getting to "go fishing" again.
Elaine also retired from teaching this year - so the flowers on the cake are for her and represent the garden she will now have time to tend. She said that she hasn't realized that she is actually retired yet. Since school won't begin again until August, she will have to wait until then before it becomes a reality to her. Arville's & Terry's mom (Annie Earl) was also at the retirement party.
