It is past midnight and has just become December 31, 2010
in Skopje.
35 years ago today - my "tiny" baby girl was born.
She was a New Year's Eve baby!!
She was a bit early and weighed only 5 lbs. 2 ozs.
She was born in the middle of a snowstorm and icy roads, but she certainly warmed our hearts --
and continues to do so!!
We love you, Amy, and wish that we could be with you today
on your birthday!!

Love you mom and dad. Thank you for all you've done for me in my life. I am grateful. I don't look back on my 35 years with anything but gratitude. Thank you for nurturing me and helping me to see the beauty in being open minded, for teaching me an appreciation for other cultures and diversity, for taking me to Africa and changing my life in the biggest way possible, for teaching me that I can see God in unique and unconventional ways, and for encouraging me to just be my self.
