Today is Anna's 9th birthday!!
We cannot believe how fast these 9 years have gone by.
We are so thankful for every minute that we have been able
to spend with her over the years.
We haven't seen her as often as we would have loved to,
but we have certainly made the most of the times
that we have been together.
She is an amazing girl -
she has learned to play the piano, she absolutely LOVES to read,
she is so smart, and has a heart as big as the world!
She cannot stand to see injustice - especially when
it involves people that are powerless to do anything
about it.
See, I told you she was amaing!

Hope you had a great time at your school birthday party today -
and have LOTS of fun this weekend.

Anna and I love that first picture of her. We don't even remember you taking that.
I made it in Chicago when we went to the skate park for Elijah to skate. It started to rain and everybody got back in the van. Anna was sitting with the door open and I was out in the rain - making pictures!! HA! I know -- I love this one too. So did my instructor in my "Creative Photography" course. We were doing bw conversions. I have one in a frame too - I will send both of them to you. See it pays to have a crazy mom that won't put her camera down - even in a storm. HA!
